Water for flushing toilets, etc. becomes pretty dear in a protracted power outage. Fill the bathtub and possibly even a few sinks for this purpose. Conserve the clean water for drinking, cooking and bathing. Gas grill is very handy, cold canned food gets old quick. Ice for refrigerated and frozen foods so they won’t spoil.
Also have her invest in a couple of LED flashlights or laterns if they are not gone already - I am seeing reports of folks going bonkers in the Savannah area.
