He can’t play the victim; that’s for pussies.

He's not playing the victim. He's telling the truth about the lying corrupt media. Big difference.

They have some pretty interesting video on there. The lectern and the finger scrolling have to be seen.

Mr Trump. Have the podium/LECTERN! inspected after Hillary Clinton shows up on stage. Pull everything out of the podium/LECTERN that should not be there and have it dumped on the table where the moderator is sitting. Call her out if she starts giving signals.

Watch the beginning of the debate when the candidates are walking out. Hellary’s “light” is magically turned on at 1:37 but there’s no light at Trump’s. There is still nothing on at Trump’s at 2:17 but there it is on Hellary’s.

It has been suggested that that little light was actually a teleprompter...And it all makes sense now...All during the debate, I kept wondering why Clinton was looking down at the lectern more that she was looking at the camera...

Knowing the debates aren’t fair he should learn to do it.

So how would a professional debater respond when your opponent lies and falsely accuses you of 6 different events all run into the same sentence??? And you have two minutes to respond???

Crying about the lying corrupt media is like being upset that Seattle is rainy.

I see, so if you’re the media’s target your solution would be remain silent while they repeatedly cheat, slander, and discredit you on the daily national broadcast? Don’t counter anything they dumped on you huh? Are you another one of these political experts I keep hearing about?

When did I say “remain silent,” or “don’t counter anything”?

I just said don’t cry about it.

Reagan didn’t cry about the unfair media, which was just as biased against him as it is against Trump. Reagan took his case directly to the American people - with great skill, charm, intelligence and character.

Trump needs to do the same.

Unfortunately, Trump cannot do what Reagan did. He doesn’t have the speaking chops, nor the well-thought-out set of political beliefs of the Gipper. Which is too bad.

Regardless, Trump is all that stands between our nation and the abyss.

I pray he manages to be more effective in these remaining five weeks.

It seems you're the only one crying here. I'm talking about countering the lying media corruption. Trump didn't blow away 16 professional politicians off the stage by keeping his mouth shut. This isn't Bush's "joyful tortoise" campaign.

And do yourself a favor, don’t get involved in political consulting. This is a high stakes struggle for the country, and it’s not going to be polite or have a proper decorum that meets your approval.

You want the WASP ruling class back. Problem is they’re either dead or unelectible. Instead you have Scott/Irish guys like Trump running and they believe in honor and fighting back. Best to get used to it.

I don’t think he should keep his mouth shut. In fact, I wish he had taken advantage of the several grapefruits tossed up at him during the debate (cybersecurity, charitable contributions, etc.).

No, I do not want the “WASP ruling class back.”

I thought Trump was much too genteel during the first debate. Hopefully he will take the gloves off in Round Two.

So either he counters and responds to the corrupt lying media or he don't. You can't have it both ways.

He should simply and repeatedly dismiss them as biased and irrelevant. Dinosaur media - just like the dinosaur candidate opposing him in the election - something ancient, decrepit and extinct.
