Remember when Romney did so well in the first debate? How’d that work out?

They all set this up by saying he should not be mean to her since it will make him look nasty. Then, when she attacks him at every chance she gets he should not bring up ALL of her past like she did with him?

I DONT THINK SO.

Trump should simply say..here is an admitted felon who might have committed treason against the people of the USA and we are supposed to put her into the White House? Here is a woman that lied with a straight face to the parents of the fallen men of the Libya attack and we are supposed to put her into the White House? Here is a woman who called the security detail that was to keep her safe while she was first lady every nasty thing you could think of and we are suposed to put her in the White House? She called them PIGS, Effers, and everything you can imagine and she has the gaul to go this route? Then quotes less than admirable ladies to boot!

In the first place I was not talking about being for him since he announced his candidacy, for even I would have fallen into that category. However, after the primaries were over and Trump was the victor the choices were narrowed significantly. If one is still undecided at that point I have no problem with them determining who they will support. But do so without trashing the one with the party that is the viable party to be supporting. Now that doesn't mean we can't air our disagreements we may have with of our party, but it really is the only viable party we currently have.

Cal Thomas has said some nasty things about Trump, like this:

Sewer politics

However, sometimes it takes crawling into the gutter to battle an opponent who has spent their entire lifetime down there. While many of us wished it wasn't necessary to do so, the reality is it had to be done in this case. Staying above the fray is what got us Obama for not 1 but 2 terms to aide in the destruction of this great nation. Sometimes you have to look beyond what you personally find objectionable about one candidate, and look at the overriding objectionable traits of the other candidates to chose from and decide which is the best choice for the country. We was way too slow to make that choice.

Now I admit that I tended to stop paying attention to things he might have said in print but I have heard him on other venues to remain upset with his take on Trump.

I actually met Cal Thomas in line at a McDonald's one night hen he was there with his family. I said hello to him and told him how much I enjoyed reading his articles. This was many years ago while another Clinton was our President, and I only mention that to put some perspective as to how I have viewed Cal Thomas for many years.

While he may have never personally been a #NeverTrump, he aided and abetted them, admittedly in my opinion, by not speaking out against them and lamenting at how terrible the choices were, in his opinion.

Anyway I am glad to see he has changed and is now speaking positively about Trump and supporting him as I thought he should have much earlier, because the alternatives, including stoner Gary Johnson, were just flat out unacceptable.

Well the reason that 0bama that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania won the reelection by only 3.9 percent was that so many on our side sat at home because they did not like the Republican candidate. Perhaps you was one of them. If so I blame you along with all those others. What do you have to say about that?

Trump should make it a point up front to make it clear, is he debating Hillary or Anderson Cooper? Then, everytime Cooper piped in, Trump could say, Do you mind? I thought it was Hillary I was debating.

My point was that perhaps debates are over rated. I voted BTW.
