The “white” strip is just the same as Trump’s. They’re both wood grain. You can tell in the lower picture toward the far edge. However, the Beast’s is reflecting stage lighting, while Trump’s is more in the shadows.
In another thread the white strip on Hillarys podium can be seen fading off when she steps away from it. Like the light from your phone goes out. It is not the same as Trumps.
Its definitely lighted. Near the end of this video, you can see it ‘turn off’.

I think its backlit, and not from stage lights, since nothing around it goes dim at the same time. It could just simply be a light...but it is odd.
