It turns out 1996 Miss Universe winner Alicia Machado, cited by Hillary Clinton in the first presidential debate as an example of Donald Trump's mistreatment of women, has a complicated past.
Shortly after she won her crown in the late '90s, a judge in Venezuela accused Machado of threatening to kill him after he indicted her then-boyfriend for attempted murder.
Machado threatened "to ruin my career as a judge and ... kill me,'' Judge Maximiliano Fuenmayor said at the time.
Her boyfriend, Juan Rafael Rodriguez Regetti, was accused of shooting and wounding his sister's husband, who he blamed for his sister's suicide.
Rodriguez was accused of shooting and wounding Francisco Antonio Sbert Mousko outside a church in Caracas where his wife -- Rodriguez's sister -- was being eulogized.
Sbert reportedly suffered brain damage from the attack.
The victim's family accused Machado of driving her boyfriend's getaway car, but she denied any involvement and apparently was never indicted, due to lack of evidence.

Re-watch the first 45 minutes of the debate. It’s Trump lecturing Hillary and everyone on how the world works and how the bought AND paid for politicians are selling out America and companies are leaving, the FED being political and keeping interest rates near zero creating this bubble stock market and bubble (fake) economy , what politicians like Hillary really are (corrupt bought and paid for you know what)etc.

My understanding here is that Alicia Machado was the winner of a beauty pageant, and Trump objected to her blowing up during the year of her reign. Since beauty is the job description, he had a legitimate beef.
It also turns out that the search terms “alicia machado porn” turn up multiple video hits, but I haven’t vetted them for accuracy. Still, not the spokeswoman Hillary would have chosen if she knew all the facts.
This is rich, she does not feel threatened being in a getaway car with a murderer or dating a drug lord but is permanently scarred by Trump calling her “miss Piggy”. Right....

There is more to it. Trump HELPED and supported her and other contestants. The Miss Universe committee wanted to fire her because she gained weight, Trump brought the reporters to her workout and said, yes she like to eat, as do I, as do all of us. He did NOT shame her and she is seen being perfectly happy at the event. The room is full of dozens of reporters and cameras, this was not an impromptu thing.
On CNN last night he confronted her with the murder accusation and she said “I’m no saint” and “we all have a past”.
But there is still more, she was heavily involved with drug lords and it is believed her child is actually a drug lord’s baby.
She’s seen in photos with Bill Clinton, but she’s coming out against Trump because he “abuses women”.
She’s been involved with the Hillary campaign a long time.
Could it be that Hillary thinks that this campaign, and the country’s future, will turn on what Trump said about a beauty contestant winner so many years ago? When there are many women in the country willing to swear that Hillary tried to destroy them literally in order to cover for Bill Clinton.
She is very ill.
Looks like Alicia Machado turned out to be a light weight after all.

What KellyAnne Conway said was it wasn’t that Trump objected - the Miss U pageant committee people objected and wanted to pull her crown. She went to Mr. Trump for help against the committee and that’s where the PR workout stunt came from, showing publically that she wanted to keep her crown and was working to off the weight (and that Trump was on her side).
The old saying, “No good deed goes unpunished.”. Applies here.
