Normally if indictment is not recommended nothing is laid out. It was very unusual.
My suspicion is he was and is trying to avoid getting caught championing a legal effort that will get slapped down by the white house while making him a target of political retribution.
He is only human, and he did risk something for honesty at risk to himself. In my comfort of just being an ordinary critic of the new fascism, I may like to think I would have gone all the way with the doomed effort to prosecute under the corrupt doj. But I can't know I would in real life...so I will not judge this man.

It’s worse than that people. I think what the bigger issue is would be how she and her activities would show other politicos malfeasance.
More than likely they investigated and found they could not take Hillary down legally without probably taking down the current and maybe three ex Presidents. From there I bet things connect to MANY other of the Washington establishment.
So rightfully taking down Clinton and her staff probably causes prosecution of 40% of the powerful elite in Washington in BOTH parties; seeing that and not wanting to be shocked with 7 bullets to the head he doesn’t go after this.
IMO that is EXACTLY what we have going on here.
