You’ll not convince me that homosexuality is anything other than a mental illness, with certain exceptions. There are some amoral people who will stick anything anywhere if it might feel good. They tend to call themselves bisexual. And as long as either type keeps it out of my face, I’ll leave them alone.
My youngest brother was homosexual, and I never knew it until after his death (at 42) of disease. He had moved to San Francisco in his 20s and it never dawned on me that he was afflicted. A co-worker with whom I got along quite well for a number of years was suddenly hospitalized and dead within a year thereafter, at 39. We subsequently found out that he was homosexual.
My point being, I don’t need to know and would prefer NOT to know. But the “love that dare not speak its name” now refuses to shut the hell up!
They gave her a wider and shorter lectern, then used a split screen with the two appearing to be of similar height. Her mic was appropriate for her height. His mic was low, and he had to bend over to speak into it. It was nonadjustable.
You can clearly see a wire running from the box below her waist up to her neck...the wire going to her right ear. I saw the cord live while she was bent over shaking hands after the debate, at the point Bill arrived to escort her back to center stage.
It is probably the setup for the lapel mike she had on.
If she had a comm device in her ear it would not have any wires.
The photo is of her left ear, so it was a different event. Hillary’s earpiece Monday was in her right ear.

Rush L spent a great deal of time on how the tuning of a mic can affect the perceived sound. To him, as a long time broadcaster, it was Trumps breathing that picked up the sniffle sound, and more than likely affected the sound he heard projected into the audience.
Just gave a speech to a group in a large room, and could clearly hear the difference with dual mics at a podium versus none, or a single. Have used the lapel mics also, and if they aren’t positioned correctly they project do distort your voice.

This is not a scandal, IMO. To be a scandal, we’d need to get Clinton’s notepad (or ipad) that was grabbed up, or catch her with an actual earwig receiver.
Given what I consider Hillary’s serious medical condition,It could have been some sort of medical equipment as my sister in law, who has been very ill, had such a contraption on her back, a bit bigger but there is no reason for it to be concealed in her case, that injected antibiotics automatically into her arm at set times, 24/7. But that does not mean that Hillary wasn’t also wearing an earpiece, and the wire going up to her head/hair was the earpiece, and not part of what I belive was her necessary medical contraption. Other than what I believe to be her criminal capacity, Hillary is not well enough to do the job, and I doubt seriously she has 4 years left in her. It’s her “cabal” who will run the show if she gets in!

Thanks appreciate that insight and agree with your end point assessment. The Clintons live off sucking people into their web, and ensuring they are protected for their part, but also vulnerable if things go wrong.
The latest Comey farce comes to mind. Comey in no way is going to bring down the cabal.
