20,000 migrants could be ejected from Italy's shelters after government runs out of funds
Telegraph ^ | 27 SEPTEMBER 2016 | Nick Squires

Up to 20,000 migrants and asylum seekers could be turfed onto the streets in Italy because of a shortfall in funding for the country’s overstretched reception centres, the interior ministry has warned.

A budget shortfall of 60 million euros could lead to the closing of some reception centres within weeks.

Migrants would then have to fend for themselves but would also be free to try to head towards the wealthier countries of northern Europe, including Britain.

The interior ministry warned that having so many migrants wandering around Italy “could create problems of public order because of the social tensions that it risks generating.”

Around 132,000 migrants and refugees have been rescued in the Mediterranean and brought to Italy this year alone, having set out in flimsy dinghies and leaking fishing boats from the coasts of Libya and Egypt.

They have joined tens of thousands who remain in the country after arriving by the same means last year.

In total, Italy is paying for the accommodation and upkeep of 160,000 migrants and asylum seekers, mostly in government-run facilities but also in privately-managed centres.

Why not escort them to the wealthier countries in the Middle East, like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Brunei, Kuwait, Bahrain, or Oman, and now that they are wealthy again, how about Iran?

Too bad they can’t go to the UAE or Saudi Arabia. I hear they have lots of money and some fabulous mosques too.

Question: if some of the European countries can afford to support the muslim immigrants invaders and some of them can't, won't all of the muzzies go to where the eats are better leaving the poorer countries better off? Pays to be poor I guess. These really are interesting times we live in.

And another question I've got, why does the spell checker in here want me to capitalize muslim and Hindu and Buddhist and Taoist and Jewish but not Christian?

The rest of the EU will be forced to pick up the tab lest they feel heartless, xenophobic, and Islamophobic.

My heart goes out to those European citizens who want nothing to do with this and have been abandoned by their leadership as well as their brainwashed fellow citizens.

Yeah, those are bad feelings. I’d give my nation and my children’s future not to have to endure those things.

Find old, abandoned tankers and create floating "refugee cities".

When the terms of the host expire, they can tow the tanker to the nearest port to the country they came from and have buses bring them to their temporary settlements.

They haul the boats out to a safe distance and scuttle them for reefs.

Problem solved.

Send them home and make them stay there. Let them get theirs back from the political thieves who stole them blind in the first place, if they can find them. Hunger is a fine motivator.

Paging Pops Francis! Here’s your golden opportunity to put your money where your mouth is. How about opening up the gates to the Vatican and letting about 5000 of them camp out on your grounds? Plenty of room in the Vatican museum.

Government Extortion.

It is my second law of government. Any popular government program will immediately become a boondoggle, as sharp operators realize they can extract ever increasing sums of money to support it. The more necessary or popular the program, The bigger the boondoggle

If you notice....no refugees want to immigrate to Portugal or Spain. Nor is Greece attractive to any immigrants. The list, when you get down to it is Germany, France, Austria, UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, and Netherlands.
