I just called Sen. Dean Hellers Reno office and the clerk who answered the phone didn’t know anything about it. The clerks in Las Vegas and DC have heard about it but have no idea what the Senators position on the matter is. So, I feel I am correct in presuming that there hasn’t been much discussion in his office on the subject.

So sadly not surprising that some Senators don’t know—but they should.
FOR NOW THE BEST BET IS TO CONTACT SENATE LEADERSHIP TO SUPPORT SB3034 AND CALL LOCAL HOUSE MEMBERS BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL, I REPEAT ALL, UP FOR REELECTION AND THE HOUSE STILL HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PUT HR5418 INTO THE CONTINUING RESOLUTION...

CONGRESSMAN DUFFY’S OFFICE SAID FOR FOLKS TO ASK CONGRESS REPS TO CO-SPONSOR THE BILL HR5418 AND VOTE YES...I CALLED MINE AND HE SAID HE WAS CONSIDERING IT—PROBABLY SAYING THAT BECAUSE HE IS UP FOR RE-ELECTION BECAUSE HE NEVER EVER HAS A POSITION PRIOR TO A VOTE...ONE OF MY PET PEEVES.
CRUZ OFFICE SAID THAT MCCONNELL DID NOT PUT HIS PROTECTING INTERNET FREEDOM ACT INTO THE CONTINUING RESOLUTION...BUT HOUSE STILL CAN AND THEN HOPEFULLY A FLOOR VOTE.
