It’s pretty obvious they’re both wearing body microphones. But why the need to also have direct wired microphones at the lectures? And the mics at the lecterns were way better mics. I find it hard to believe this is some kind of audio, “backup”
They may have had some discussion away from the podium. They needed to be on mic for that.
