A close analysis of the transcript of the first presidential debate on Monday night shows that moderator Lester Holt of NBC News asked 15 questions exclusively of Republican nominee Donald Trump, and only 2 questions exclusively of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
The analysis, posted on social media and drawing intense attention on Reddit, walks through the entire 90-minute exchange and notes Holt asked six questions of both candidates, in addition to Trump’s 15 and Clinton’s two.

Couple times I thought he was attempting an argument.
Personally, I don’t think he wanted to undermine Trump but, was told to do his job, the terms of which, were dictated by his bosses.
Interesting. Does anyone have a measure of the amount of time each was allowed to talk? I would bet that Hillary got at least 60%.

Holt knew the more she talks, the less she’s liked. Trump’s victory will also be a victory over a lawless and hopelessly corrupt media.

1. Fire “Candy” Holt.
2. Never run a debate again.
Holt interrupted Trump 41 times...
Holt interrupted Clinton 7 times...

Are they including the lead off set up about “the most successful economic recovery ever”? Candy Crowley was less partisan in 2012.
I’m starting to think that the blatant desire of the media to elect Clinton is now a Trump asset.
Trump didn’t appear to perform well, yet polls show he won the debate and he suffered no major damage, while Clinton somehow hurt herself with an apparently strong performance.
The only good explanation I have for this is that the status quo, as represented by Clinton and Holt, is so revolting that the mere witness of their methods in action is enough to drive voters into the arms of Trump.
Lester had a little fact checker I ha his ear.
