This seems to be the consensus of those that are honest and not too partial or too panicky.

1. Trump clobbered Hillary during the first 30 minutes.
2. Trump missed a lot of easy opportunities to smash Hillary.
3. Clinton came across VERY polished and prepared-—too prepared and robotic and typical politician like.
4. Trump came across as natural, but not well prepared.
5. Hillary probably dismissed some health concerns.
6. Trump probably dismissed some temperament concerns.

In all, it was probably a draw, IMO.

I only listened to the debate. So I saw no visuals and I too thought it was a draw.

Totally agree. It was the regular people's successful business man against the elite establishment's woman who has been in "public service" for 30 yrs.. He WON that one hands down. However he did leave way too much on the table and I hope he lands a knockout blow in the next debate.

But really it makes no difference what the next debate yields - the answer will be for forthcoming on Nov 9. IMHO no one's mind was changed by last night's debate - unless you are brain dead and think the RAT party has left you and your country in great shape than it was in 2007.

That’s pretty much my take too. Trump hit hard a few times and stumbled badly a few times. Hillary was more polished — probably a little TOO polished. And that phony grin was nausea-inducing.

I doubt anyone changed his vote because of that debate.

And yes, Lester Holt is a biased dolt. But what else did you expect?

Good synopsis, pretty much the way I saw it.
