Heard an interesting caller in to our local talk radio show today. He pointed out that only the first 30 minutes of the debate were on policies that people really care about - jobs, the economy, and trade. The other hour was spent on trivial items like Trump’s tax returns, birtherism, and whether Hillary “looked presidential.” No one cares about those issues.
For the first 30 minutes of the debate, on the substance, Trump came across as authentic and really hit Hillary hard.
