I think Trump came across as “Presidential” tonight. A lot of undecideds will now feel more comfortable with the thought of a “President Trump.” This was a win for Trump tonight.

What Bobby is saying is that Clintoon didn’t do well tonight. However, I believe he’s right. Many have already made up their minds and they’re sticking to it. The polls in November will tell the story.

TRUMP reached the folk in the inner cities who are tired of ‘living in hell’ with all the violence, poverty, drugs, and crime.

Then Hillary failed because she needed to gain momentum. Her likeability took a hit.

"Hillary didn't gain; Trump didn't lose." Seems like Schieffer is implying that Hillary won the debate, but she really didn't help her position.

Many here were hoping Trump would step on her throat and not let up. Explains the disappointment in many of the posts here tonight as he didn't come close to doing that.

ah, he’s probably right though.

the polls before and after the three debates with romney and obama were pretty much the same

a few percent might change based on a poll.

i already forget the questions and answers lol.

For once I actually agree with Schieffer. It was on points a victory for Hillary, but certainly not enough to sway a whole bunch of voters to leave Trump for her nor will it get more independents to move to her column. If anything, I think Holt’s interference all night long hurt Hillary because it just reinforced the notion that the media is biased for the Democratic Party. To be honest I thought this was more Trump facing Lester Holt than Hillary.

I disagree. Trump showed he is dead serious and will show some fangs in the next debate.

Our country’s survival depends on it.

If Schiefer is saying this, that means it went better for Trump than many here think.

Trump didn’t need to reach across the aisle - he needed to reach those on the fence who needed to determine that this businessman an reality TV star who they barely knew really did share some of their strongly held beliefs and their anger and worries.

That’s why this was a major win for Trump - because he definitely reached those folks tonight. Nothing that either one said was going to change the minds of anyone on either side of that fence.

A big post-debate poll bump is coming. RCP Avg Trump +3 or more within two weeks.

And then right below the stuipid asses comments is the chart for the CBS Poll saying that 71% of people think Trump won.

But just like in the primaries, these online polls don’t mean anything and Trump isn’t serious, just doing this for publicity, etc blah blah.

If the career politician former US Senator former SecState and wife of former POTUS can’t pull more votes in an online poll, actual polls, or from polling analysts - then what does that tell us?

But he may be right, some people always tell pollsters they haven’t made their mind up and tonight wouldn’t have convinced many of those folks. If they are still considering voting for Hillary, maybe nothing will.

Actually Pence came on and gave a brilliant response to CBS commentators after the debate. So much so that they seemed to keep his time short after they heard his remmarks.

Well done Pence!

If Boob Schieffer admits Hillary didn’t win, she lost by a mile.

The biggest miss for Trump was when she was responding to his ‘stamina’ remark. She gave examples of her stamina and one of them was that she testified in a hearing for 11 hours. Trump should have said ‘you were testifying for 11 house because your incompetence cost 4 lives and lost an embassy for the first time in 60 years!’

Missed opportunity! But Trump was still great.

From social media feeds I’m looking at, it seems the supporters of both candidates don’t feel they did as well as they believe they should have. Schieffer may actually have the right idea to a certain extent. Trump missed opportunities, but he didn’t collapse, either - he held his own. Hillary was so satisfied with herself in putting him on the defensive that she came across as a snob and probably cancelled that out. Some of Holt’s questions were quite frankly absurd.

How many voters now are really “ undecided”?
I think all that’s keft are people who despise Hillary and can’t bring themselves to vote for Trump or won’t admit that they plan to
Or stay home
