One FReeper said Soros is hiding out in Singapore. I find this hard to believe, as I have been there often, but I can’t disprove it either.

I believe it - Singapore is very strict. It either runs on huge amounts of money, or draconian laws. Take your pick.

I get you, but Soros was very much a party to the 1997 Asian currency crisis, and it’s recession. He is hated all over Asia. When I lived there, there were palpable rumors of a price on his head. Just find it odd, that’s all.
