HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Panicked eyewitnesses ducked for cover as a gun-wielding man opened fire at a strip center in southwest Houston, injuring several people before being shot himself by police.
An active shooter situation is reported in southwest Houston
Many questions remain as to a motive for the violent shooting at the Randalls supermarket strip center on Weslayan at Bissonnet.
While officials said the shooter had been 'neutralized,' they would not elaborate on his injuries.
Houston Fire Department says six people were taken to area hospitals after they were injured by the reported shooter.

Everyone should watch the video with the black witness. “I had raised my window down... I didn’t see nuffin’... I hear the gunshots past my face because I’m leaning out my window looking... I ain’t never been in no standoff like this before... It was over a hundred (gunshots)... AR-15s, AK-47s what I heard ‘cause I know my guns... I’m looking out after myself trying to shuck and dodge.”
I guess you’re right. But, I sort of hope these things don’t go away so quickly and somehow linger a bit to educate the public about the need for strong leadership.

Just looking at the Fox News blurb on their app. They reference the shooting by a “man” at the Washington mall and the stabbing by a “man” at the Minnesota mall.

Never heard “raised my window down.” I’ve heard “unrolled my window” before, though.
When I saw the clear pics of him, I thought of places like Uzbekistan, but I don;t know much about the areas involved.
I love that graphic, but is there some confirmation of this. Desai is a Hindu name.
