Don’t be surprised when Trump carries out his own homebrewed platform and plops it down right before the nations eyes to foil Clinton’s attempt to look larger. It would be hilarious. That's what I thought. They would want Trump behind the bigger podium, as it's the ratio of body to podium that determines the perception of scale.
Also, I figured they would just place Hillary's podium closer to the cameras, and they would have the same effect.
