Syria airstrikes kill 85 people in Aleppo amid diplomatic row

Syrian forces pounded rebel-held eastern Aleppo on Sunday, killing at least 85 people and wounding more than 300 others, an activist group reported. The bombardment destroyed residential centers, overwhelmed hospitals and angered diplomats meeting at the United Nations.

"Everyone in Aleppo is depressed," an activist on the ground told CNN.

"They don't know what they have done to become targets for warplanes. Fear is clear in the eyes of anyone you see walking the streets of Aleppo. Yesterday I saw a woman walking on the street and crying , no clear reason, just crying."

Hundreds of airstrikes have pummeled the city, home to more than 250,000 people, since the Syrian government, backed by Russia, announced a renewed, "comprehensive" offensive Thursday following the collapse of a short-lived ceasefire.

While Syria and Russia target and kill terrorists, Obama baits them by mixing his terrorist "Rebels" in with civilians and humanitarian convoys.

A cooperative Western Media can't find the terrorists as Obama named them all "Waldo".

So much for any Ceasefire.
I don’t think Obama wants that anyway. Pity. The Syrian people don’t deserve to live this way. It’s not their fault that the leader of western nations doesn’t know what he’s doing and ignores the advice of his Generals.
The Generals know Obama is arrogant and petty enough to choke off their pension benefits if they openly criticized him.

This anti-U.S. cabal in charge of U.S. foreign policy is making a concerted effort to engage the U.S. in a conflict with Russia. The media is playing its part. Much sympathy for the rebels. No sympathy for the U.S. airstrike victims in Dayr Az Zawr where dozens of widow’s were created. A Republican congress is funding this goatrope.

I just think there would be a lot less civilian casualties if we weren’t sticking our noses in this. We shouldn’t be in Syria.

what do you do, jump from post to post hoping for WWIII? :)

We’re wrong bro. Not right, wrong.

We STARTED the mess with the arab “spring” some ###ing spring.

now we enmesh “moderate” muslim monsters into towns are shocked, SHOCKED, when they are hit.

Good for Egypt for fighting back.

I can’t say “good” for assad and putin cause they’re not good men. But they’re a #### of a lot better than what we want in charge.

And now that we know the Bushes are a complete fraud/traitors/hillary voters, we know Iraq was a devastating diversion that left 300k soldiers with TBI and thoe injuries dont go away.

We’ve been ####ed like 2 dollar whores for 28 years, and we make fun of black for being suckers for 50 years.

OUR eyes are open now. Hopefully the blacks will follow.

You think it started with the “Arab Spring?” Is that what made Russia invade Ukraine, for example? Heck, even the propaganda arms of the Kremlin haven’t argued as much. Although, if they did, I have little faith that a portion of the FR population would be immune to it.

While I don’t have a knee-jerk reaction against involving our troops overseas, considering this CIC and his apparent motivations, I would hope our Pentagon would hold off on any action for a few months.

“Everyone in Alepo is depressed.”

They should change their name to something less weird and more cheerful.
Like ‘Sunnyvale”.

Absolutely! Now that Russia is there and bombing, there’s no logical opposition to U.S. bombing, right? Because if there is, we might find logical opposition to Russian bombing! Beautiful in its simplicity.
