My degree is in history. Most specifically military history, but there’s quite a lot of overlap with this. Honestly, I think a lot of what is getting written about Muslim immigration to the UK is overblown and exaggerated. I don’t want to get into a deep debate about that here - I’m on vacation - but I have studied it a bit.
Muslims are slower to integrate into the UK than some other groups have been but it is happening and it will continue to happen. I actually think the bigger long term threat is the growth of atheism - of no religion - in the UK, as people turn further and further away from any faith at all, and Islam is being affected by that as well. Note, I believe atheists can be perfectly good and moral people - but in many cases people are losing their religion and not really replacing it with any other coherent moral code.
well, i remember from history how moslems took over 56 other countries just like their movement now into UK, etc
