Triangulation is a psychology flaw where a person fears direct communication, but must triangulate through a third person. Such as if your mother feared talking to you but must ask your father to talk to you instead.

That makes a lot of sense. My mother had no trouble with telling me off but she got dad to administer what little corporal punishment was needed.
It's an old Clinton tactic - part of the politics of personal destruction practiced so well when Bill was Prez.
Instead of dealing with an issue, the talking points point that get circulated point out how some opponent is a bad person and then all the political riff-raff in the country open fire on him or her.
Triangulation is part of why Hillary has such a deservedly nasty reputation. It's really Alinsky Rule 12 "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)"
It would work better if Hillary did not target classes of people like the vast right wing conspiracy or baskets of deplorables. Then You invoke Rule 5: Ridicule.
That is a typical tactic of theirs - accuse the opponent of what they are doing/are guilty of.

Is calling Trump a liar and asking the debate moderate to name the lies, a triangulation? Hellary and her SS have gone full tilt boogey on the (projection, of course) headline that Trump lies so often, she can’t be expected to debate him. So she’s Lauer-ing Lester Holt to debate Trump or else the Collective voice of the MSM will ruin his reputation. Actually, Lester Holt has a lot to loose if he doesn’t follow the demand of the Hillary SS. His whole life could be ruined if he doesn’t act hyper-aggressive toward Trump.
We live in a sick culture. Hillary was fired for her politics of destruction the first big job she ever had: the Watergate takedown of a President. She is the dirtiest politician in US history, ushering in the New Left amoral view that the ends justify the means! Ugh! Clinton be gone. What a fitting end to her life, to die slowly of brain rot.
