DC Whispers ^

In 2016, that domination has been reversed, as Donald Trump is now poised to carry the critical battleground state. Check out the numbers below, and remember, Trump also dominates the share of Independent votes as well, meaning he likely already has a 200,00+ vote lead over Hillary in Florida.

If these trends hold, Donald Trump and his millions of supporters will be very pleased come Election Day.

R +6 in FL. A good sign.

No pollster is using it because they’re biased and secondly the media paying them wants a horse race.

Regardless of whether there’s any truth to it.

Dems catch up with early voting. Still a ways to go but does look promising.

This Independent changed parties to get Trump on the ballot. I will re register after the election. Too many independents are sick of the Republicans because of who they’ve been picking as candidates. Trump did well in FLA because I was not alone. You can also thank Hillary for the Deplorable label, who the F’ does she think she is? She’s just a Fake Phony Failure hyped to look good with myth.

Independents in Florida are people who think the Republicans are not conservative enough. That could mean libertarian conservative or social conservative or market based conservative. Hard to see any of them voting for Hillary.

“I for one cannot see how an Independent could vote for Hillary.”

Or anyone for that matter.

As I remember, most Independents vote conservative.

Even so, the title is misleading. Twice now.

Does Florida require voters to register by party?

Yes – but one of the "party" choices is "Unaffiliated" – which is categorized as "Independent" in news reports.

You're right, except that actually is the inside-baseball trade term within campaigns: "How's the early vote in FL?" means: "What is the ballot request ratio?"

I predicted a big Florida win for Mr. Trump, and lo, it came to pass...and I've been predicting for five months on this board a Florida TSUNAMI in the general election for Mr. Trump.

If my red "Make America Great Again" cap (which has been glued to my head everywhere I go from the gitgo to now) could talk you'd all be out buying the champagne magnums RIGHT NOW to celebrate Florida's 29 electoral votes going into Trump's victory column.

A votre sante!

Also remember that Donald Trump is basically an Independent running on the Republican Party line.

Isn’t FLorida the state that would be impacted the most from the Soros overseas vote mining operation?

And would those overseas voter ballot requests be captured in this data?

I think libertarian is a separate and distinct party. Independent mens no party.

During the primaries we saw pretty much ONLY Bernie stickers and signs here in the Maryland suburbs of DC.

But it’s telling that in so many places you see all these Trump signs, when a lot of people are really afraid to have signs in the current atmosphere.
