Within 48 hours most people have forgotten almost every bit of substance in a presidential debate. The only thing that matters is how the viewers perceive the candidates.
This is why people remember sound bites for decades after a presidential debate. Think of Reagan's "There you go again!" jibe at Jimmy Carter. Within a week of that debate everyone remembered the line, but nobody remembered what the hell Carter even said that precipitated that response.

Good point and thanks. I think all of us put too much stock in the debates and everything about the election. Trump has exceeded my expectations and he has put together perhaps the best month I have witnessed by any candidate in my lifetime.
It’s just that I am overly armed with negative Hillary facts. Just about every topic I was yelling at the television wishing him to bring up very legitimate stuff.
All in all - he probably did better than I think he did because I wanted him to point out over and over just how scandalous I believe she is.
