Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson has pushed back on a rumor that his running mate will quit to prevent a Republican victory in November, telling an audience in Texas that it was best described by an unprintable word.
"Occasionally you get a question that is just so out of left field that I answered it with: Bull----," Johnson said at the annual Texas Tribune Festival.
Friends of William Weld, the former governor of Massachusetts whose ticket has given boosts in fundraising and gravitas, have said for days that Donald Trump's recovery in the polls had given him second thoughts about running as a "spoiler." In a CNN interview on Sept. 18, former Washington Post reporter Carl Bernstein said "there could be some pressure brought on" Weld by his friends, warning him that he could pull votes from Hillary Clinton and hand the presidency to Trump.

Weld realizes that Trump will win and wants to get back in the GOP good graces.
I think what is happening is that Johnson is taking to many votes away from Hillary and the “rumors” are starting to fly. The msm is doing all it can to help Hillary.
We never saw any negative stories on him until they realized he was hurting Hillary.
He might as well quit.
Maybe back into the GOPe good graces. His concern is the libertarian ticket is hurting Hillary.

Johnson acted as though he was still buzzed from a little medical maryjane. I can’t imagine why he thought that was a good idea. I’ll bet his supporters cringed.

It was hilarious. She was speechless and had a WTF? look into the cameras. This happened at the tail end of a busy week, with lots of lone wolf terror stories. More will discover this bizarre moment in the next few weeks.

I seriously doubt the "what's a leppo?" tongue-sticking incident, or the "forget about climate change, the sun is going to engulf the earth" episodes are accidental. Grandma Nixon has sent down the word: "You're taking votes from the wrong side. We're cutting your funding. Make a fool of yourself and get out now!"
Once again, the formerly highly vaunted Clinton Machine has demonstrated its tin ear for 21st Century Politics. There is literally nothing so kookie that Johnson's Bernie rejects would consider a disqualification. Look for him to pull a naked-guy stunt in Times Square in October. Sensing the futility, the Clintoon's have fallen back on their tried and true methods: start a whispering campaign.
