To: Alberta's Child
there seemed to be a lack of urgency on the part of the police when it came to searching for the perpetrator. That led us to speculate that they had a good idea what the motive was, and that they didn't consider the guy an ongoing threat.

Compared to how Boston handled a shooter at large, the response in Wa is a complete joke.

Keep in mind that the bombing attack in Boston took place at the Boston Marathon -- one of the most heavily attended events anywhere in the U.S. in any given year.

As I watch how the WA police deal with this situation, it seems more and more like they have good reason to believe that the perp isn't a threat anymore, and that this wasn't a random attack.
