CHARLOTTE, N.C. – To much of the world, Charlotte is the Queen City — a gleaming downtown, state-of-the-art stadiums, sparkling new mass transit, the nation's banking capital.
But a very different Charlotte came into the spotlight in the past few days.
Move outside the city's core and there are neighborhoods like the one where a white police officer shot and killed a black man, Keith Scott, setting off violent protests. Places where residents tire of seeing police only when teams of officers sweep in to make arrests, and remember well other blacks killed by police officers who did not face punishment.

The Wizard of Oz was racist because:

Those evil whites, trying to improve their city by modernizing it, and cracking down on crime. Notice how the left uses crime as a code word for BLACKS. Obviously cracking down on crime is RACIST. You would think that with all the contact blacks have with police they would learn how to behave when stopped by them. Make what could be a threatening move and bad things happen.

These folks are too busy working 40-60 as week.
Italians also never rioted when members of the mob got shot during an arrest.

It purports to reveal hidden truths but it is merely a flyover-country pastiche that relies on a laughably small sample of quotes and events to make wildly erroneous categorical statements.

Nobody’s forcing them to live there.

Back when South Africa still had apartheid, I read a book by a black Caribbean diplomat who had gone there--since he was a diplomat representing an independent country they could not subject him to their racial laws so he was classified as an "honorary white."
