Friday on MSNBC, while discussing Monday nights upcoming presidential debate between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol said Trump knows deep in his heart he shouldnt be president of the United States.
Partial transcript as follows:
STEPHANIE RUHLE: Joining me now is Bill Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard. As I said, the heat is on, but Donald Trump is painting this picture, eating cheese steaks, chilling out, adding another rally on Saturday night. Do you believe it? Do you believe this easy breezy Donald Trump is showing up, or do you think behind the curtain, though theres been nothing official said, there is a Roger Ailes, you know, scheming, figuring this all out?
BILL KRISTOL: There is plenty of scheming, Im sure Roger actually is one of the people talking to Donald Trump and he will give him good advice. I dont knowall 100 million people watching, the presidency on the line, Donald Trump knowing deep in his heart he shouldnt be president of the United States. maybe Donald Trump will just choke. Wouldnt that be interesting?

I subscribed to the Weekly Standard once upon a time.
Kristol, you’ve disgusted me beyond repair. I will never again while you are the publisher. What a Pharisee.
If Trump really believes that then he is very qualified to be President because he is not an arrogant blow hard like the rest.
How does Bill Kristol generate revenue?
I don’t see Trump as having any self-doubts at all.
It is now do or die
TRUMP vs Hillary & this IDIOT Kristol is still bashing TRUMP?
WTF??!!!
A good thing, if one is going to loosen the death grip socialists have on this country.
Kristol is going the way of the Dixie Chicks.
Our oligarchs are nothing but inbred morons.
Bill Kristol knows - - in the deepest part of his heart - - that if his father hadn’t been Irving Kristol he’d be selling tires at Costco.
Guess he thinks the Presidency is reserved for a certain CLASS of people.
My dad used to read WS, but he can't now - just like NR, establishment 'conservative' rags...
But they should know --
