And not just employees, but contractors as well. I worked for a company that did a lot of work for the government in the surveillance/reconnaissance area and we all had to get "Secret" or higher clearance. We were all briefed before we started a job on the security requirements, then debriefed when the work was completed. It was made clear to us in no uncertain terms what was expected of us, and what would befall us if we didn't measure up. That's just for lowly contractors. How much more secure must it be for the highest levels of a very sensitive department like DoS? Evidently Hillary, the "smartest woman to ever walk the face of the Earth" (so it is said) isn't smart enough to understand or recall anything about it.
Exactly! She was given very precise information by attorneys years ago on how to weasel thru and get away with things. But, enough is enough. As you said, there are strict guidelines. Ignorance or pretending to be ignorant of such things is inexcusable. They need to Just throw book at her. Let the Democrats find their new nominated replacement - probably Bernie.
