I will be giving standing orders to all of my friends and family ... to shoot me dead and take possession of all my assets if I ever buy something so ludicrous.
If they want to sell a bunch of them they ought to make kids (up to 6 yo) shoes like that, but given that they are pricey, they would need to make them so they grow with the kid’s feet.

Imagine a shoe that fits a kid from one to five years of age and that “self laces”. Parents and kids would love it.
Once you start putting electronics and little motors in there, you can make the shoe a dynamic orthopedic shoe for people that have trouble walking with regular shoes.
I think this opens up a ton of potentials.
I’m sure other creative freepers will think of more applications...
... but it’s so fashionable these days to leave the laces untied!!
Great for liberals and Americans of African descent who have to hire people to tie their shoe laces currently.
