What is it with those parties where they drive by and shoot...and knowing that is going to happen, why does everyone at the party stand where they can be shot?
That’s gang stuff. One gang will be having a big party in someone’s yard and everyone stands around drunk and/or stoned.
A rival gang gets wind of it and if they can drives by and opens fire. (Bad luck if you happen to be driving slowly down that street, the homies will think that you are about to do a driveby and will shoot you and your car full of holes. Nothing personal, ese.).
The homies standing around drunk will duck when they hear the guns go off but the drive by might hit a few first. Great fun is had by all. The cops come and no one has seen nothing. Then next week some other gang has their party shot up. Inexplicable.
