Chris Christie’s favorite recording artist.
I have mixed feelings. Went to his concerts in the early days. What a backing band! Highly energetic showman with some great songs - albeit the voiceovers (personal stories) between songs were cloying and hardly varied. I’m tired about hearing how his conservative father was happy he didn’t get drafted and about it being zero degrees on the boardwalk at Christmastime.
He really does have a great catalog of music. Had he been not such an insufferable and knee jerk liberal, or at least kept his mouth shut about it, he would be hailed here as one of America’s greatest rock performers.
Saw him once in 1992. I would rate the show about a 7 out of 10. Was never compelled to see him again though. I hear enough of his political views here on FR as it is.
