Southeast Asian American as in SOUTH KOREAN AMERICAN on the SCOTUS could be great!
South Korean Americans are known for their observance of conservatism, their respect for propriety (turning down bribes), and their unwillingness to back down to social pressure groups. Let’s hope it’s a good one!

Adding some racial diversity, she said, “doesn’t change the fact that these individuals’ track records suggest they would endanger the cherished rights and freedoms of Americans.”

The potential nominee is South Asian, as in Indian. Korean would be East Asian. And yes, I agree that we could do a lot worse than have an American of Korean heritage on the Supreme Court.
Koreans have also have been known to shoot back when the riots threaten their existence.
