My grandparents emigrated to the US from Sweden and somehow managed to learn enough English to get jobs shortly after their arrival - my grandfather worked for Pullman and then International Harvester, and my grandmother worked as a nanny and a maid. My grandparents came here with only grade school educations - one came from a poor farming family, the other from a poor family of fishermen.

I truly resent the many seconds of my life I've had to spend listening to "press 2 for Spanish" when I call my bank or pretty much any company these days.

Well, the Dems need to keep a subpopulation poor and virtually broke to get votes. They wised up and learned that when immigrants learn English, their earning power improves and they see through the Dem masquerade. The end result is that they lose power.

So, instead of letting Spanish speaking immigrants (and illegals for that matter) learn English, they keep them out of the population at large by catering to their linguistic needs and preventing them from assimilating. They’ll continue to vote Dem and live in poverty. Dems don’t really care since they hate people ... they only lust for power.

If Trump gets in and delivers on his illegal immigration control policy, the Democratic Party is DOA and they know it. The results will be tangible not even a year after they are implemented.
