IIRC, if she is accompanying her husband, The President, she would travel on a diplomatic passport. Heads of State are considered diplomats, and direct family members get those passports as well.

Diplomatic and Official passports only last five years.

I saw the picture of the passport on Drudge. What struck me is, the requirements for passport photos explicitly states the subject shall not smile! I’ve know applications to be rejected because of smiling photo.

Apparently not Mooches’ though.

As an aside, that IS the only photo of Mooch I’ve seen where she doesn’t have that angry Aunt Esther face.

Of course every travel agent in the world will tell you not to email a passport number or credit card number. These people are beyond stupid.

The requirements do state that there’s no smiling and a bunch of other parameters, and any independent photo business will hold to that. But I had my photo taken at the post office, and gave a nice big smile without being told not to. They took my picture and no one rejected it because it was internal.
