You mean they didn’t have to debate whether walls work for thirty years like they do here?
Walls and fences seem to work everywhere but the US.
How about just rounding up the invaders (oh, wait, they are already in one place) and deporting them back to North African shores. That would be a lot cheaper and solve the long term problem as well.
