Yes Mr. Sherman, I am tuning out. It’s hard for me to take seriously a man who got an all expense paid scholarship to Stanford, one of the top schools in the country and makes millions playing a game. This same man wants to complain about “rogue” cops that kill black men (never mind that they also have killed white men) and yet this same person has no comment on the thousands of black men that are killed by other black men every day in Chicago.

Where’s your outrage of “rogue” cops killing white men? Where’s your outrage of black men killing other black men in the inner cities of America?

Or that many of the alleged incidents involved black police officers.

Thanks. I had thought Beyonce was a Negro, but I can see that she’s whiter than Obama.

It was not over a political difference. The Who were there to perform, not listen to Hoffman’s crap.

The dialog went something like:

Hoffman: “I think it’s a pile of s*** that John Sinclair rots in prison.”

Townshend makes an inaudible comment; Hoffman responds with “What?”

Townshend, clearly audible: “Get the f*** off my f****** stage!”

And the NFL is ignoring how pissed it’s revenue source (the fan base) is becoming.

...watch it til the end because Townsend follows up with something else near the end of the clip.

Yo, Dick. I’m not just ignoring you’re hateful message, I’m ignoring the NFL. There’s the door, don’t let it hit you on the way out of my country.

the message of NFL players’ protests during the national anthem has been lost

Does that surprise any rational person, even if we pretend they had a worthwhile message to begin with? When these overpaid pro-thug brats protest during the National Anthem, I do not care what they are protesting or why. They are starting the "conversation" by insulting my country - and that ends the conversation.

Being offensive will not bring sympathy to your cause.

Why can't he just say that.

I guess he is not offended. Well, I am.

Sherman is supposed to be a communications major if I do recall correctly.
He just sounds ignorant because he does not point to why the protest is being ignored.

“Richard Sherman says people are ignoring message of NFL players’ protests”

No they’re not. The message is getting through loud and clear: a bunch of spoiled, rich, ignorant elitist entertainers are spitting on the fans, the cops, the military, and their country, all of whom made it possible for them to be a bunch of spoiled rich elite entertainers, and instead support a bunch of thuggish criminal anarchists who sponge off the rest of us with all the free stuff they get that WE have to pay for.

The Grateful Dead routinely threw activists off the stage. Why? Because they owned the PA and nobody was using it except them.

And Alabama rules college football.
