Too, there are a lot of lawyers out there who failed the bar the first time as well. The first-time failure percentage is somewhere around 30%, though it varies depending on the school. A good chunk end up taking the exam 3-4 times. Of course, as the saying goes, “what do you call the guy who graduated last in his class at medical school? Doctor”. There are a LOT of crappy lawyers out there, and there’s no doubt that most of the really brilliant ones e.g. Alan Dershowitz probably got through on their first attempt.
Hillary was demonstrably a mediocre lawyer at best, viz her ejection from the Watergate trial for ethics violations and other idiocy. But first-time failing the bar is not, IMHO, the best angle to attack from.
