Eugene Robinson uses his twice-weekly column in the Washington Post to pick American society apart and then put it back together again in unexpected and revelatory new ways. He won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for his commentary on the 2008 presidential race between President Barack Obama and U.S. Senator John McCain.
In his three decades at the Washington Post, Robinson has been city hall reporter, city editor, foreign correspondent in Buenos Aires and London, foreign editor and assistant managing editor in charge of the papers award-winning Style section.
He has written books about race in Brazil and music in Cuba, covered a heavyweight championship fight, witnessed riots in Philadelphia and a murder trial in the deepest Amazon, and sat with presidents, dictators and the Queen of England. Robinson is also a regular contributor to MSNBC.
Just annoying that Trump didn’t have someone who was on his side. Someone like Pat Buchanan or someone else. Not Steven Trump Hater Hayes.
In addition to his responsibilities at The Weekly Standard, Stephen Hayes is a regular member of the FOX News All-Stars on the networks signature news broadcast, Special Report with Bret Baier. Before joining FOX, Hayes was part of CNNs Best Political Team on Television, which won a Peabody Award for its coverage of the 2008 elections.
Hayes has written extensively about national politics, international affairs and the countrys current political leadership. He was the first to report that Mitt Romney was preparing to select Paul Ryan as his running-mate, and he broke a series of stories related to the attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya. He is the author of two New York Times bestsellers: The Connection: How al Qaedas Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America and Cheney: The Untold Story of Americas Most Powerful and Controversial Vice President.
Robinson and Hayes presentation will be held at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
The Weekly Standard guy is a Neocon #NeverTrump. He is a saboteur.
he’s also a leading race hustler who called the Tea Party dangerous but referred to the black panthers as knuckle heads..
He’s also got his head a considerable distance into Hillary’s colon.
Trump needs to have HIS people on the ground at every debate location weeks in advance. Shrew Hillary is probably setting booby traps on his holding room for the debate. Be assured, the Clintons are working every angle. INCLUDING the camera shots of both candidates.
Hillary team is working on the optics of the debates on the ground and Trump needs to address it NOW.
If you have a drink every time Robinson says “uh uh” you’ll have alcohol poisoning by the end of the session.
Eugene Robinson is skewed so far to the left he walks with a V-8 tilt.
He really thinks that his printed words will cause the birds to cease singing, the sun to give its light, and make all the world fall silent. Kind of a black Mario Cuomo.
