Ground game is only useful with undecideds and soft voters. You’re trying to persuade them to show up. It’s useless for persuading those who have already made up their mind. It’s also very expensive to hire people to walk and knock on doors, so your ability to deliver a ground game is limited in part by your ability to get people to volunteer. Simply put, you can’t knock on all the doors that need knocking without a lot of volunteers or a lot of money or both.
I’ve not seen much a ground game by the rats in truth. maybe they’re gearing it up, but if they are its been low profile.
Doubt it. doesn’t help her in any way: voters don’t want a leader who can’t lead her own election team.

Local Philly news tonight about Trump in Pennsylvania reports that his organization has thousands of volunteers ready to canvas the Philadelphia suburbs this weekend to push the vote - maybe they can bring back to the right side some of the smug suburbanite Republicans who went ‘rat in the past few elections to show how oh so wonderful they were in voting for the first black president.....
