This article does not meet the standards of the Ministry of Truth and will, therefore, not be reported by the MSM.
How DARE you cite facts at a time like this? All that matters is the narrative, dammit. Facts just confuse things.
no problem....
It’s being reported today that non-whites were killed by police at a rate that is x times that of whites.
Problem is, from what I've read and observed, a lot of Black parents aren't saying this to their kids--Quite the opposite, in fact.
The ignoramus in the Oval Office isn't helping matters either.
Soooooooooo.... do I get to loot a WalMart now or what?
More people than that are killed while clipping their fingernails.
Exploitation of mere fact is also institutional racism, since black people do not have equal access to facts. Thus facts have disparate impact and hurt mostly minorities and people from underserved urban areas. Fact-based verbal colonization is not Who We Are.
Logic derives from Dear White Male Culture, and therefore it is not inclusive. It is mostly used as an attempt to intimidate, and it excludes other, more diverse modes of discourse. It reeks of metric. It squeeks of dog whistles. It geeks of Eurocentric. It is phallic, a classic tactic of Mansplaining.
[Aside: No, YOU shut up.]
Thus it tends to silence vulnerable voices, especially People of Color and People of Vagina, as well as People Involuntarily Involved with the Justice System, and it adds nothing constructive to the broader parameters of consciousness-raising conversation and Justice Awareness in the ever-changing society in which we live. In.
You bigot.

From another of one of my posts:
During the 4-year period of 2009-2012, a total of 56,259 homicide victims were reported in the U.S. 1,491 were the result of police use of force. Of the 1,491 persons that died from police use of force, 915(61.4%) were white males and 481 (32.2%) were black males. That is 120 black males a year. To put it into perspective, 373 persons are struck by lightning in the U.S. each year and between 40 to 100 deaths annually from insect-sting-related anaphylaxis.
So why is this overblown reaction to these black male deaths by cop? When you take into consideration that the majority of them are justified, it puts them into to catagory of deaths by bee sting. I know. I know. We better round up all those pesky bees.
Crud! You’ve got that down tight. Are you sure that’s really sarcasm? I’m glad I’m not Mr. Don-o! :)
But you Mis-understand.
There’s lots of cool 60 inch curved screen TVs out there, an the one that I stole three years ago, jus ain’t cool no more.
In the 70s and 80’s southern sheriffs tried to falsely imprison or kill lots of white young people from the city but they were usually able to get away in their hot rods after escaping from jail. At least, according to the movies I saw at the drive in during those years.
SOROS is funding the riots with a cadre of hired mobile professional rioters...
In Baltimore he paid $5K / month...
but of course the DOJ wont go after him...
Wow. That was good...
I heard that report too, but it was on Fox Business. If anybody has the original study, which was reportedly by a black college professor, it would be worth trying to get it up on the Drudge Report, at least.
There is a very prominent young black economics professor at Harvard—I think maybe the youngest black to receive tenure there—who did a study with similar results. Essentially cops are more fearful of the impact of shooting blacks and so more hesitant to do so, even in threatening situations.
However, apparently there is more gruff treatment of black suspects than white suspects. It is just that they are more likely to shoot and kill the white suspects.
