I expect some kind of plea bargain to come of this.

Looks like the sentence is maximum 4 years. If the dude was on PCP, might be able to plead it to probation or even to a misdemeanor, giving up her certification. If the DA doesn’t offer that, she’d probably be better off rolling the dice at trial. Of course, this may be the DA’s offer, with a threat to come out of the grand jury with a murder indictment if she won’t plead to this.

She shot an unarmed man who was not a threat to her or anyone else in the area. I think that calls for a bit more than a misdemeanor.
