The breathtaking sadness of seeing a boy suffering amid Syria's civil war has prompted a breathtaking offer of hospitality and kindness.

The sight of shell-shocked 5-year-old Omran Daqneesh, who was wounded in an airstrike in Aleppo, left many people speechless last month. It also prompted a New York boy named Alex to write to President Obama with a simple request: "Can you please go get him" so Omran can become part of Alex's family?

A Wounded Child In Aleppo, Silent And Still, Shocks The World THE TWO-WAY A Wounded Child In Aleppo, Silent And Still, Shocks The World The generous offer from Alex, 6, is now tugging at heartstrings on the Internet and beyond, after the White House released the letter and a short video of the boy reading his request to Obama on its Facebook page Wednesday night.

"We will give him a family and he will be our brother," Alex wrote. "Catherine, my little sister, will be collecting butterflies and fireflies for him. In my school, I have a friend from Syria, Omar, and I will introduce him to Omar. We can all play together."

While he’s still too young, in the future little Mo is going to have 72 virgins, something he’d have a hard time finding over here. /s

There is certainly no shortage of kids in harms way in Muslim countries.

They should stay home and fight to straighten out their own countries.

And not just the muslims.

That goes for the Mexicans and other Hispanics too.

The real irony is that they “escape” to America and then set about recreating the piss holes they just ran away from.

And not just the muslims.

If I’m supposed to be moved, I’m not at all moved. I wish the little boy in Syria well but I don’t want him to grow up here and make my grandsons live the same kind of miserable life he has in Syria.

Of course, shouldn’t all countries craft their foreign policy on the wishes of a 6 year old?

Horse hockey. No 6 year old did this on his own. Lies, lies and more lies.

Does anyone with two brain cells to rub together actually believe a SIX YEAR OLD wrote this? First graders are nowhere near this coherent in their writing.

What BS.

I wonder what all those newly emigrated muzzies thought when beautiful Swedish girls NOT wearing a burka came running at them (without an escort from their father or brother!!!) with “Welcome Syrians” signs?

Probable got REAL excited about the girls in their new home right there...
