“Feminist icons Gloria Steinem and former Secretary of State Madeline Albright attacked young women for not supporting Hillary Clinton’s candidacy this week — with Steinem specifically saying young female voters are just following the boys.”

“Feminist” Gloria Steinem tells us what she REALLY believes about young women: they’re mindless and unable to think for themselves; that only “boys” have opinions!

And, yeah Clintonistas, THAT’S the ticket for getting people to vote for you: insult the crap out of ‘em!

[BTW, I’m shocked to see McClatchy print the naked, unvarnished truth in this article.]

The most effective argument to present to young people is an economic one. We are 19 trillion in debt and college age kids understand debt. You have to convince them that the status quo knows (but won’t admit) that THEY will have to pay for this. There is no debt reduction plan in place. There are no spending cuts. There is no sign that their debt will disappear or stop growing.

It’s been highly effective when I have had the opportunity and I blame BOTH parties for it. I am stunned at how few of them have really considered it, but they will walk away with something to think about that only brings them to one conclusion - the status quo screws them and their future.

They all agree that Trump does not represent the status quo. It is an overwhelming advantage for his candidacy.

Not surprised.

Young adults view Hillary as both “old” and “yesterday’s” news.

I’ve got three millenials at home. They tell me that the word on the street is, Hillary is a crooked old lady who’s too sick to be president.

The kids don’t like her.

“And many are debating whether they even want to vote this year.”

That is the operative phrase. They will just stay home. Sickery is not going to turn out the base.

I’m 26 and I’d sooner gouge out my eyes with a fork than vote for Hillary!
