I read that the governor acted on the the police chief’s request for help.
Apparently the mayor is MIA.
Hannity interviewed the governor and the governor said these sorts of things are best left in the hands of the local authorities (the governor was formerly the mayor of Charlotte) but you got the sense that he thought the Charlotte mayor was in over her head (though he didn't specifically say that). Reminded me of the Nagin situation in NO after Katrina. Nagin didn't have a clue.
