Wed Sep 21, 2016 12:12 30 Israeli, Foreign Intelligence Officers Killed in Russia's Caliber Missile Attack in Aleppo
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Russian warships stationed in Syria's coastal waters targeted and destroyed a foreign military operations room, killing over two dozen Israeli and western intelligence officers.
"The Russian warships fired three Caliber missiles at the foreign officers' coordination operations room in Dar Ezza region in the Western part of Aleppo near Sam'an mountain, killing 30 Israeli and western officers," the Arabic-language service of Russia's Sputnik news agency quoted battlefield source in Aleppo as saying on Wednesday.
The operations room was located in the Western part of Aleppo province in the middle of sky-high Sam'an mountain and old caves. The region is deep into a chain of mountains.
Several US, Turkish, Saudi, Qatari and British officers were also killed along with the Israeli officers. The foreign officers who were killed in the Aleppo operations room were directing the terrorists' attacks in Aleppo and Idlib.
Earlier in September, the Syrian army units launched a preemptive strike on the terrorists of the so-called Aleppo Operations Room in their gathering centers near Castello road in the Northern areas of Aleppo and Mallah farms, foiling their plots to attack the region's supply route, a source said.
The source said that the army's artillery units attacked the terrorists' gathering centers near Castello and Mallah farms in Zahra Abdo Rabbah, Kafar Hamra and Hurayatyn which killed and wounded dozens of militants.
Also, the Syrian air force attacked the terrorists' supply route in Northern Aleppo towards Hayyan and Adnan as well as the supply roads in Western Aleppo towards the North and smashed the terrorists' convoys in al-Aratab, Urom Kobra and Ma'ara al-Artiq which thwarted the terrorists' plots and forced many of them flee towards the Turkish borders.
Informed media sources disclosed earlier that the Syrian army has continued its advances in the Southern part of Aleppo, and regained control over several strategic areas in the town of Khan Touman.
"A number of key warehouses of Khan Touman are now under the Syrian army's control," the Arabic-language media quoted an unnamed informed source as saying.
The source noted that the Syrian air force and army's artillery units also targeted the gathering centers and fortifications of the terrorists in Khan Touman.
Yes, you read it correctly. I found it quite funny.
I’ll believe it when I read it in the National Enquirer.
Believe it or not, the Saudis are our only friends in the Gulf...and we are their biggest customers.
Over THERE the Saudis rule the Gulf...since they have the most petroleum and natural gas, therefore the MOST MONEY.
While some of the countries over there are OUT of petroleum (Oman) already, American geologists ESTIMATE that they have another 200 years of the "black oil" and the now CAPTURED natural gas that is then liquefied, bottled and sold to the world.
Cosmic joke: The Saudi Bedouins used to some of God's POOREST people on this earth. Now they have it $made$ for a long, long, long time...because of us Westerners whose need for petroleum and natural gas seems insatiable.
I know there are a lot of ‘military can do no wrong’ folks here and I’ll likely get flamed, but I won’t be able to cheer for Air Force guys who give ground support to ISIS. “Just Following Orders” hasn’t been accepted as a valid defense since 1945.
The Russians are big believers in violent payback for perceived slights. But the ball is now in the “Israeli’s court”.
If they want retribution, it would almost have to be against a Russian warship. It would also have to have “plausible deniability” to avoid the risk of a hot war. This would mean using a Russian built weapon the Israelis had captured, and likely from Syrian government territory. Even that might be too blatant, so they might use a different weapon from some third party. Chinese would be good.
Hmmmn.
if these reports are true - and they might be true after all.
The US killed 30 ordinary Syrian-backed militia troops. In other words, teenagers wearing uniforms in a truck carrying AK-47’s.
The Russians sent a pair of cruise missiles into the INTELLIGENCE ROOM of the allied Command Center that was directing the previous attack. Killing a large number of very expensive officers and command and control equipment (and breaking the intelligence room up so ANYBODY could come in later and gather up the radios, satellite receivers, and crypto gear for “secure analysis” elsewhere. More importantly, so ANY officer considering another attack on Syrian teenagers in a truck gets a few ... “second thoughts” about his own neck.
Too bad the Russians didn’t send a cruise missile towards the Pentagon or White House.
It would be difficult for any of the unwelcomed countries to admit they had covert operatives there, so the truth may never come out on that.
However, at least for me, if the rest of the report (i.e., big-time Syrian advances) pans out, meaning the battle for Allepo turns big-time to the advantage of Syria, then I’ll believe this report, because if it is accurate, it will have a HUGE IMPACT on the course of this battle, and the course of the war. In fact, it just may end it, once and for all.
I have a bad feeling that the Russians are killing most of the right people.
So an Israeli, a Turk, a Saudi, a Qatari, a Brit and an American walk into this bar in Aleppo...
Maybe someone credible will confirm whether or not the Russian navy fired 3 Kaliber missiles into Syria within the past 3 days ...that’s at least part of the story
If this occurred, Putin has just sent a message that western advisors and troops will no longer be “human shields” to protect ISIS from attack, so if they are with the enemy they are the enemy
#18. Names, I want names. /sarc
But I do like to read good fiction.
Great article. Thanks!
