Since news broke on Saturday regarding a string of pipe and pressure cooker bombs being found in New Jersey and New York (with some going off), nearly everyone in the news and political world have been offering their unsolicited hot takes via Twitter on bombs, radical Islam, and terrorism.
Perhaps the most egregious and mind-boggling was MSNBC’s All In host Chris Hayes, who ran into proverbial buzzsaw of outrage when he declared in a tweet that the people of the New York City metropolitan area were “very very lucky that the attackers tried to use explosive rather than guns.”

No doubt because injuries/death resulting from explosions are much less painful than those resulting from guns.

Lucky it was bombs? Hayes doesn't understand science ("explosions are what happens when something gets very big very fast") any better than Ahmad Khan Rahami. Two airplanes loaded with fuel that mixed with air when they were flown into the WTC made very big explosions.
That statement makes about as much sense as Gary Johnson’s of ‘glad no one got hurt’ Really people??? Seems like ‘sanity’ in today’s world has gone down the drain...
Then how come similar bombs that went off during the Boston Marathon killed a couple of people and caused so many injuries? That was because when those pressure cooker bombs went off, there was nothing to slow down the explosive energy of the bomb.
So is he saying that the Boston marathon victims were lucky?

The idiot obviously hasn’t seen the videos following the Boston Marathon bombings where the victims had limbs blown off and their bodies shredded by the shrapnel in these pressure cooker bombs.
