The father didn’t call the FBI (according to the NYT) he told the cops after his son stabbed another son. When contacted by the FBI the father recanted and said he was just angry.
None of this is believable. The father is acting as the typical terrorist-father-in-America, which is, run out and get the media before the truth can be found. And blame American authorities.
