To be fair, what percentage of the audience were Democrats? I would expect laughter from Reublicans who don’t have their brains up their butts. But if democrats were laughing too, then that is significant.

Charlie Crist is the epitome of the unprincipled politician, with zero core values, who will leave or join any party, and do or say anything in order to grab political power. He's been FL Education Commissioner, AG, Governor, and wanna-be U.S. Senator.
Crist is the biggest brown-nosing Establishment clown you will find in any U.S. state during any era. He needs to lose at whatever he tries this cycle. Even Democrats know what Crist is...

Amazed is more a word I’d use. Amazed a thoroughly unqualified and unknown figure managed to reach the highest office in the land on the strength of his skin color, dubious speaking abilities and ultraradical, racist and non-Christian ideology, promoted by a similarly radical, America-hating media and pop culture along with a bipartisan political cabal. Amazing and terrifying. Perhaps inspiring for a similarly unaccomplished and destructive phony like the Orange Menace.
