ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — WCCO’s Esme Murphy spoke with a top community leader who has been working with the family of Dahir Adan since Saturday night.
Haji Yussuf, the founder of the anti-Islamophobia group Unite Cloud, said that Adan left his family apartment to go pick up his new preordered iPhone at the T-Mobile store inside the mall.
“He went out to get an iPhone. He was very happy, he was joyful leaving home,” Yussuf said.
He says Adan left the apartment he shared with his father at about 7 p.m. He drove to the mall which is less than half a mile away.
“While he was at the mall, the family doesn’t know what happened. But what they know is, between the time he left his home and they knew what he was going to do and going to the mall, in between they don’t know what happened,” Yussuf said.

Similar to what I hear people say about loved ones who commit suicide, “but he/she was so happy lately!” Of course - they had made the decision so nothing bothered them any more.
“Proof iPhones make people go crazy.”
That’s certainly the only conclusion one could draw.
Hmmm. I do not know what type of knife he used, or how he acquired it.
But, unless it is a typical pocket knife, the attacks were premeditated (and the family is likely lying).
Also, if he doesn’t actually work as a security guard, his costume was also a mark of premeditation. Even if he did work as security, unless he was on the way to or from work, it shows premeditation.
Wonder where the perp was spending his time, if not at college...
He was joyful alright at the prospect of killing infidels and getting his 72 virgins as a warrior for Islam killed in battle. Instead he was shot like a rabid dog and is burning in hell. I am certain an examination of his computer and cellphone will reveal connections with radical jihadist groups who used his Muslim faith to goad him to commit murder in the name of Islam.

Uh, yeah, right.
The thing that most Americans don’t understand about Arabs/Muslims because they haven’t actually had much contact with Arabs/Muslims, is that lying is the cultural norm for them. They are taught from birth that the lose-win exchange is the only way to conduct business, or life for that matter, and that the highest form of the win-lose proposition in the Arab/Muslim world is to lie and cheat the other fellow.
Once again The Tueller Drill is validated.
