Philadelphia (CNN)Hillary Clinton made a direct appeal Monday to a demographic group that continues to be deeply skeptical of the Democratic nominee: millennials.
Addressing a largely younger crowd here at Temple University, Clinton argued that her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, does not share their values, and that in contrast, she has fought her entire life for children and young people and would be their biggest advocate in the White House.
Clinton said that young people she has spoken with to over the course of this campaign have expressed concerns about divisiveness and discrimination. "Too many young black men and women made to feel like their lives are disposable; too many immigrants living in fear of deportation; too many young LGBT Americans, bullied; too many young women and men assaulted," Clinton said.
Clinton emphasized efforts to promote affordable tuition and combat college debt. These topics were at the core of the presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders -- the raspy, populist Vermont senator who proved to be formidable challenger to Clinton as he overwhelmingly won the support of young people and liberals.

“too many immigrants living in fear of deportation;”
You can’t get deported unless you’re illegal.
In which case you SHOULD live in fear of deportation.
Crowd?
Pray America wakes
No one will hear this bore. Five rows of students, maybe 20 per row in a small venue, and the rest were media cameras.
I figure they were poli-sci students and their professor made them go, or bribed them
with extra credit.
Sounds like The Beast should promise money for midnight basketball leagues.
Illary wants to enslave you.
Give it up, Granny Clinton.
“Clinton argued that her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, does not share their values, and that in contrast, she has fought her entire life for children and young people and would be their biggest advocate in the White House.”
She did not fight for Chris Stevens or the others who were killed in Benghazi I guess they were disposable to her.
The woman is a real piece of work. How anyone can believe her is beyond me.
They may have been younger, but they sure as heck weren’t a “Crowd”.
Unless one subscribes to the old saying that starts:
“Two is Company...”
She thinks people who were born in 1995 are going to respond to the same concepts and language that appealed to people who were born in 1950.
We should be glad that most people DON’T share the “Democrat values”. As far as Hillary being an advocate,I guess she advocates for herself.
In addition to pandering with free college tuition, she said something about they should only be responsible for a moderate amount of debt.
I took that to mean if you borrow more than a certain amount, you won’t have to pay it all back.
Clinton is in that ‘promise them anything, promise them everything’ phase.
Hitlery is grasping at straws.

What’s the point? CNN acting as a stenographer for Hillary. Whatever.
Exactly! It’s amazing how stuck-in-the-past she has always been. It’s what has made her such a boring ideologue, and so tone-deaf.
The crowds are kept small deliberately in case she has a meltdown.
