It would have been nice if Cheney had actually tried to cut spending, but I don't see where he did.

People who like Cheney like him because he was a fighter. But they don't ask if what he was fighting for was what they're fighting for.

Greater power for the executive branch and more extensive interventions in foreign countries aren't necessary popular causes.

His fans also don't ask about the things the he really didn't put up a fight for because he was so busy with his own agenda.
